Why the shortlist stays short
Best8Deals grew out of frustration with endless “top ten” pages that never change. Our graphite edition keeps only operators we have opened, funded and cashed out from. If a brand fails licence hygiene or hides safer-gambling tools, it never reaches the homepage.
How research runs
Each review cycle starts with the UK Gambling Commission register. We confirm the licence number, then create a personal account. Deposits are modest — enough to sample slots, live tables and cashier flows. Withdrawals are requested the same week. Support gets a genuine question, not a canned script.
Affiliate contracts sit in a separate folder from editorial notes. Commercial teams do not edit scores. If a partner’s offer looks weaker after a retest, the number drops even when the invoice stays friendly.
